Payal Rohatgi requests Modi Govt Not to give Awards to Salman, Ekta Kapoor, Karan Johar

The untimely death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput had sent shockwaves across the country. People from the film fraternity started breaking their silence and speaking against nepotism, the exploitation and power-play that rules in Bollywood. After actress Kangana Ranaut, Bollywood actress Payal Rohatgi has now lashed out at Salman Khan, Ekta Kapoor, and Karan Johar for sabotaging his career.

Payal Rohatgi has shared a video on Twitter in which she made an appeal to the Modi government not to give Awards to Ekta Kapoor, Karan Johar, and Salman Khan.

Taking to Twitter, Rohatgi said that a case has been registered against Karan Johar, Salman Khan, Ekta Kapoor in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide in Bihar Court. Requesting PM Modi, she said that these actors should not be given Padma Shri.

In a video released by Rohatgi, actress Rohatgi accused Salman Khan of using his money power to sabotage Rajput’s career. Not only this, she has also demanded the Modi authorities to not give Padmashri one of many highest civilian awards to Ekta Kapoor and Karan Johar.

Bollywood promising actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on June 14 (Sunday). His unexpected demise left everyone in shock, including his co-actress and ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande. His death by suicide was because he was going through a mental bouts of depression. Though the reason was still unclear, the whole nation has been indicting nepotism for the death of this extremely talented actor.

The star could have easily ruled Bollywood but took the decision of ending his life by hanging from the ceiling of his apartment in Bandra.
