Priyanka Chopra, Karina Kapoor remain silent when Indian Hindus die: Says USA Author

In a heart-wrenching incident, a 46-year-old African American was brutally killed by a police officer in Minneapolis. The deceased was identified as George Floyd, a black man who was in handcuffs while being beaten. Video footage of the incident went viral on social media in no time. The video, which is doing all the rounds on social media, shows an officer kneeling on Floyd’s neck as he gasped for breath.

Following the incident, people expressed their outrage over the incident and thousands of people thronged the street to ignite the incident. Massive violence broke out across the USA. A huge crowd reached out to the White House to demand justice for George Floyd.

Several people have strongly condemned the death of George Floyd. Meanwhile, A number of Bollywood celebrities including Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Kareena Kapoor Khan have also criticized the incident.

PeeCee and Bebo have extended their support to George Floyd, but their support did not go well with the netizens. Social media users asked the two Bollywood actresses why they remained silent when riots took place in India and why they did not utter a single word.

Now, an activist Renee Lynn, who’s also an author, columnist and the founder of Voice for India, shared a video on her Twitter account and lashed out at Priyanka and Kareena, saying that ‘Hindu lives are less important for Bollywood’

Sharing the video, she wrote, “My Reply To Priyanka Chopra & Kareena Kapoor regarding “Black Lives Matter”. Hindu lives are less important for Bollywood.” In the video, Renee can be seen calling Priyanka and Kareena ‘hypocrites’ for raising their voices against the racism in the US, but also endorsing fairness creams in India for a long time.

Renee further said, “You can’t raise your voice when Hindus were brutally murdered in India by prejudice minorities groups. Where were you both, when Geeta, Divya, Maansi and many other Hindu girls were brutally raped and killed. You were silent; no postcards, no media, no candles.”

“Both of you are despicable and you need to, for once in your life, stand up for the Hindus,” she added. Renee’s post has caught everyone’s attention on Twitter. While some are slamming the activist for her outrageous post, some are lauding her for speaking the truth!
