MP Highcourt Judge works from Home, gives justice to victims via video conference

Amid the lockdown which was imposed to prevent the spread of the epidemic, which has claimed more than lakhs of people’s lives, an Indore high court judge recently heard a case through Video Conferencing and a lawyer presented the case before the judge through the video call.

Coronavirus has put the entire world in a lockdown as there is no antidote of this disease so far. Presently, COVID-19 shutdown has forced most of the employees to work from home. The trend of working from home has increased in the last few weeks ever since the lockdown was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. More than 50% of employees are working from home at present across the country.

The spread of Covid-19 has affected courts in the country. Work in the courts has been disrupted, so many courts have decided to work from home through a video call.

For the time being, Indore high court has stopped working from the court till further notice. However, judges and lawyers are working from home. Indore high court is functioning on a day to day basis while it follows shutdown guidelines to help in social distancing. It is important that justice must be delivered wherever possible.

Now, top job sites including job seekers, Naukri.com, Indeed.co.in and many more are hiring candidates across India who can work from home. Searches for remote work have also increased drastically. A remote work policy is considered an important factor when searching for a job.

However, half of the employees working from home during the closedown seem to be unhappy with their work-life balance, according to a survey. Several organizations have shut down and promoted work from home.

The novel coronavirus, which originated in Wuhan, China, is bent upon killing human beings, eliminating them. By far, the virus has affected over 27.4 lakh people globally and the global death toll has risen to at least 191,790. In India alone, the confirmed positive cases of coronavirus have surpassed 23,000 so far, while at least 723 people have died in the country from the infection.
