See how India turns its Trains into fully luxurious hospitals, to fight COVID-19

The novel coronavirus, which originated in Wuhan, China, has created a panic situation across the world. Jaw-dropping pictures of coronavirus from Italy have created an atmosphere of fear in India.

The deadly virus is bent upon killing human beings, eliminating them. It is neither restricted to a nation nor a region or particular weather. It has put the entire world in a lockdown.

By far, the virus has affected over 8.8 lakh people globally and the global death toll has risen to at least 44,000. In India alone, the confirmed positive cases of coronavirus have surpassed 1600 so far, while at least 38 people have died in the country from the infection.

India is the second-largest country in terms of population in the world. The population of India is over 1.3 billion at present. In such a situation, how will India deal with the daily inflow of patients and lack of beds, if the number of coronavirus patients rises? One thing is sure that India will see a shortage of hospitals if the number of patients increases steadily in hospitals.

China built a special 1000-bed hospital in 10 days when the deadly virus created a panic situation in Wuhan, the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak. While India is likely to establish a 6370 bedded medical facility soon, with a fraction of its cost.

India is to turn its trains into fully luxurious hospitals in virtually no time to fight the COVID-19 outbreak which has killed thousands of lives across the world.

A coronavirus patient is supposed to be kept under an isolation ward, but India does not have enough hospitals and isolation wards where thousands of corona patients can be kept. Therefore, India is transforming its train coaches into temporary coronavirus hospitals to avoid shortage of hospitals.

It is true that there is a scarcity of beds, medical equipment like ventilators in the time of crisis in India. That is why Indian Railways workshops came forward to build beds. Trains are being converted into a prototype quarantine facility. So far, 6370 beds have been manufactured in trains by Indian railways. It will help India deal with hordes of corona patients in the time of crisis.

As the COVID-19 outbreak is quickly spreading across the globe, no country has been spared by this deadly disease. Indian doctors are putting their lives at risk and treating patients despite a lack of medical equipment.

The innovative technique of Indian railways is being praised a lot on social media. In the fight against the pandemic, this innovative move will help medical staff fight against the COVID-19 pandemic

The whole world is in a state of shock after the novel coronavirus pandemic impacted lakhs of people’s lives. The speed with which corona is spreading seems unstoppable.

India is making all necessary efforts to contain the spread of fast-spreading disease. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a complete lockdown for 21 days across the nation in order to curb the spread of the coronavirus epidemic.
