Socio Story organised India’s 1st Online CSR Conference

The corporate affairs ministry has sought public comments on proposed changes to rules governing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy under the company law.

There are many proposed important changes which may impact the CSR ecosystem of India.

Socio Story conducted India’s 1st online conference on “Draft Amendments in CSR Law (Section 135) by MCA”In order to make people aware about proposed changes.

e-Conference was organised on 27th March which turned out to be a biggest online CSR conference ever which was well attended by more than 100 participants from social development sectorand has been watched more than 10 thousand times on social media.

Session was moderated by Mr. Praveen Karn, Group Head- CSR of Spark Minda along with esteemed panellists like Dr. KK Upadhayay former director of FICCI, Mr.NoshirDadrawala, Chief executive of Centre for Advancement of Philanthropy&Ms.RadhikaRalhan, Social Impact fellow at Atlas Corps.

Session helped people demystify their doubts & questions on proposed amendments and overwhelming response shows commitments for CSR to be an action oriented and impactful agenda.
