Educated girl threatens officers on duty because they stopped their vehicle during lockdown

Amid a country-wide lockdown due to the novel coronavirus outbreak, a video went viral on social media like wildfire in which an educated girl is seen fighting with healthcare workers when they stopped her for coronavirus test.

At a time when the world is fighting against the coronavirus outbreak, this educated girl is fighting with medical officers who are working day in day out to combat the spread of COVID-19.

It has been learnt that the girl along with her friends was going to Jagdalpur from Mumbai. On the way, medical workers stopped her for the COVID-19 test, but she refused for the test and started arguing with them. Her friend, who was driving the car, got off the car and began to argue with doctors. They both began to fight with them instead of getting tested for the coronavirus.

Healthcare screeners cited the example of singer Kanika Kapoor who ignored airport screening and later she tested positive for COVID-19. She did not get tested at the airport despite she was aware of the disease. She freely attended parties and mingled with a large number of people. She put several lives at risk. An FIR was later registered against her for dodging airport authorities.

Despite knowing the fact about Kanika Kapoor, they continued to argue with medical officers. Above all, she threatened them. These health officials are putting their lives at risk and conducting health screenings for people across the country. They are making significant contributions to help the nation fight COVID-19, but some people do not understand their major contributions.

Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged his countrymen several times to avoid social gatherings as part of precautionary measures to contain coronavirus outbreak. But this girl and her friends are not taking this fast-spreading disease seriously.

The entire world is well aware of the coronavirus outbreak which originated in Wuhan, China. So far, the deadly virus has affected over 5 lakh people globally and the global death toll has risen to at least 24,000.

India is making all necessary efforts to combat the spread of COVID-19 outbreak. To prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, PM Modi announced a complete lockdown across India.
