The news was confirmed by China Global Times. It has been learnt that the man lost his life while traveling to Shandong Province for work on a chartered bus. Later, it came to be known that he died of hantavirus.

According to a CDC report, there were only 10 confirmed cases of the hantavirus at Yosemite National Park in August 2012 while 17 cases in 11 US states.
