Additional Chief Secretary (Medical and Health) Rohit Kumar Singh said the patients’ condition improved after they were administered the anti-HIV drugs.

The drug cocktail has been proven to work effectively for patients who were suffering from coronavirus. The anti-HIV drug combination is believed to be very effective to cure the dangerous virus as the coronavirus has no medicine.

Three of the four patients have now recovered from the infection.”Their symptoms were flu-like so they were initially given anti-malaria and anti-swine flu drugs,” Kumar said.

Now the infections caused by the virus can be treated. It has been learnt that 3 people have lost their lives due to coronavirus in India.
