Manika Batra did India proud time and time again as she has won five Gold, two Silver and two Bronze medals for India.
Manika Batra was born on 15 June 1995. As of January 2019, Manika Batra is the top-ranked female table tennis player in the country and ranked 47th in the world. The Indian table tennis player specialises in playing long-pimples on her backhand, which is a rubber that is not often played by top players.
Manika Batra has reinstilled pride in women empowerment for coming through with flying colours at the Asian Games 2018 at Jakarta, Indonesia. She wrote a success story for herself as she became the first Indian female Table Tennis player to win an Asiad medal.

She settled for the bronze after lacking to produce the killer punch in the semis. The pair comprehensively trounced North Korea’s An Ji Sing and Cha Hyo Sim to seal the berth in the last four.
