Corona won’t infect us, it will attack only Modi, Allah is with us: says an elderly Muslim lady

While the Government of India and the State Governments are making all necessary efforts to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus outbreak, Muslim women continue to protest against CAA, NRC, and NPR at Gate No. 7 of Jamia in Okhla, Delhi.

Women at Jamia say that they have no fear of coronavirus. They are greeting people with shaking hands. They are also performing prayer (Namaz) at the site.

Recently, a shocking video surfaced on the internet amid the deadly coronavirus outbreak. The video which is doing the rounds on social media shows women at Jamia are still staging dharna against the Citizenship Amendment Act and they believe that they will not be infected with COVID-19, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi will surely get infected with it. It can be guessed that anti-CAA protesters want PM Modi to be infected with coronavirus, which has now become a global pandemic.

In the video, protesters could be seen saying, “We need not be afraid of COVID-19 because we have faith in Allah and he will never let us be infected with the virus. Allah will protect us from epidemic”.

In the video, one of the women could be seen criticising PM Modi for implementing the citizenship act across the country. When asked about fear of coronavirus, she said, “We do not fear anyone but Allah, we are also greeting each other with a handshake. Nothing will happen to us as we trust in Allah. Modi will be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic because he visits other countries so he has fear of the virus. We are not scared, we are together and Allah is always there with us”.

These protesters have spewed poison against PM Modi. While Prime Minister Modi has urged his countrymen to avoid social gatherings as part of precautionary measures to contain coronavirus outbreak. The Indian government has taken significant steps to curb the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak. But people at Jamia believe that Allah is always there to protect them from the epidemic. They say that they do not believe in rumors, they put their trust in Allah.

It can be gauged from the fact that anti-CAA protesters are strongly against PM Modi. Several women claim that they were not aware of the citizenship bill before, they were asked to join Jamia and Shaheen Bagh protest. Now, they are also sitting on dharna. They say that their primary demand is to revoke the new citizenship law.

But these women also do not know that the Modi government has evacuated all Indian citizens from different countries amid the worldwide panic over the novel coronavirus.

Scientists are trying their best to find a complete cure to combat the fast-spreading disease. China too is finding it tough to bring the widespread infectious disease under control. Anti-CAA protesters at Jamia believe that Allah’s grace can treat the disease.
