In most parts of India, men are tasked with prime responsibilities to run the family as they were considered as the sole breadwinners and you don’t often see many women-friendly policies.as they don’t go to offices as they are forced to sit at home and do household chores. On the contrary, men go to offices, stress a lot and work without seeing clock needles to earn wages either daily, weekly or on a monthly basis.
Women get very limited opportunities to study and were always considered inferior to men. They never really had the liberty to do what men were doing and hence they became homemakers. However, in the male-dominated society, women are braving against all odds to become successful in life. Such an incredible example is set up by Hina Jaiswal of Chandigarh.
Hina Jaiswal became the first Indian women flight lieutenant of the Indian Air Force. In a field which is dominated by males, Hina Jaiswal touched the pinnacle of success. She is flight lieutenant of the 112th helicopter unit of Yelahanka Air Base located in the northern suburb of Bangalore.
The Ministry of Defense added said in a statement about Hina Jaiswal. “Flight Lieutenant Hina Jaiswal has created history by becoming the first woman flight engineer after completing the course at Yelahanka Air Force Station.”
Hina Jaiswal started working for the Indian Air Force Engineering Branch on January 5, 2015, as a soldier. Before really joining the Flight Engineering course, she extended his service as the Head of the Firing Team and Battery Commander from Frontline Surface Missile Squad.
After Hina completed her Flight Engineering course, her proud parents Anita Jaiswal and DK Jaiswal told that her dream is fulfilled now. They told that Hina used to wear uniforms of soldiers since childhood and now her dream is complete.
Hailing from Chandigarh, Hina Jaiswal did her engineering graduation from Punjab University. As per the statement, “During the course of six months, Hina demonstrated her commitment, dedication, and perseverance while training with her male rivals.”
Hena stated, “My achievement to become the first female flight engineer is like a dream fulfillment because I was inspired to wear soldiers’ costumes and become a pilot since childhood.”
As the flight engineer, Hina will ply her trade as the Indian Air Force’s operational helicopter units in the Andaman Sea by the snowy heights of Siachen Glacier. Hina said that she is excited about her work in aviation which she truly loves the most. She went on to add saying that she is willing to give absolutely everything to tackle the challenges that come during work. “I am excited about my work in aviation and I am ready to face the challenges that come during work.”
The flight engineer branch, which comprises largely of male soldiers, was also opened in the year 2018 for women officers. Now, Indian Air Force has got its first ever female flight engineer and let’s take a moment to appreciate Lieutenant Hina Jaiswal for becoming the first female flight engineer.
Several ministers, celebrities and fans have congratulated Hina Jaiswal for tremendous success and has set an example of millions of women all over India.
