Kylie Jenner became a billionaire at the age of 21. After she attained a massive status, people had different opinions about it. After Forbes officially announced it on Twitter, netizens trolled the star and started questioning how she accomplished all this by herself.

People said that Kylie may have been the youngest billionaire but she hit the peak because of the influence that her famous family has.

However, she entered the billionaire’s club by carving out a reputation for herself in her entrepreneurial career of Kylie Cosmetics, which she calls it a big milestone in her life.

Kylie Cosmetics was set up in the year 2015 and it was a minuscule project with as many as 7 fulltime and 5 part-time employees in the management. The manufacturing segment is operated by Seed Beauty. The sales department is handled by Shopify, an online merchant. The company is run on the basis of online marketing. Her mother, Kris, handles PR and finances.

Let’s learn how she became the youngest self-made billionaire in the world. It should be noted that her cosmetics range was sold in pop-up stores and shops. Once she penned a contract covering the distribution deal for her cosmetics lineup with Ulta. She also visited in an Ulta store in Richmond Avenue in a bid to meet her fans and make a social appearance.

The next one and a half month turned out to be a very useful and productive time for the young entrepreneur. The sale volume increased US$ 54.5 million. She said, “I popped up at a few stores, I did my usual social media—I did what I usually do, and it just worked.”

The Ulta deal boosted her overall revenue by 9%. Then Kylie Cosmetics reached an estimated value of US$ 360 Million. According to the estimation by Forbes, the valuation of Jenner’s company is US$ 900 Million.

She is only 21 years old and even hit the billion mark before Mark Zuckerberg did. She said, “I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future. But [the recognition] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back.”

Kylie Jenner now has more than 175 Million followers on Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. She said, “It’s the power of social media. I had such a strong reach before I was able to start anything.”

She recreated new interest among her followers and admirers. It was then she launched her beauty products online. Every product got sold within a few minutes and in fact they were sold out faster than the creative team planned. There came a massive response came from all the 50 states in the country. The same tactics happened with the newly signed Ulta deal.
