TMC leader Mushtaq Sheikh loses both hands while making bombs to attack pro-CAA rally by BJP, says report

A TMC leader has reportedly lost both his hands after the bomb exploded Birbhum district’s Lobara village in West Bengal. The bomb victim was identified as a Mushtaq Sheikh who is a member of the TMC party. The bomb victim was immediately taken to the hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

As per reports, the explosion created fear among the locals of the area and the intensity of the explosion was so loud that the villagers started running hurriedly in fear.

The reports claim that the incident took place in a field outside the Lobara village where Mushtaq was making a bomb in order to attack a pro-CAA rally called by the BJP on February 4.

After the explosion, the villagers rushed towards the site and found TMC leaders covering up the bomb site and now they are saying that no incident occurred at the place. While the villagers saw the spot scattered with blood, pebbles, and other materials used in making bombs.

Sheikh Samad, a local resident and a secretary of BJP’s minority cell claimed that Mushtaq Sheikh alias Bapi from TMC, who is a booth president of the ruling party, was planning to attack a pro-CAA rally called by the BJP. That is why he decided to make a bomb, but he lost both his hands in the blast. Another three persons have reportedly sustained severe injuries too. BJP has alleged that the TMC leader was planning to use the bombs to attack a pro-CAA rally called by the BJP on February 4.

Ever since the Citizenship Amendment Bill was passed by the Parliament, violent protests have been held in West Bengal and other states too. But no one could have ever imagined what TMC leader was going to do. Many people or BJP workers would have lost their lives if Mushtaq had succeeded in his mission. Many people have already lost their lives during the protests held by TMC leaders in West Bengal. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee should take stringent action against miscreants. The state government should take strict action to stop his nefarious designs.
