In 2020, Indians will be able to tour Malaysia for up to 15 days with electronic travel registration and information system. It is quite an easy process and one can do it either individually or through travel agencies.

Nonetheless, entry and exit in Malaysia will only happen through authorised airports or entry points and so the tourists should take care of that. As per The Star Online report, the visitors will be required to produce full proof of sufficient cash for expenses. After that, they should show their travel itinerary in Malaysia. In addition, they should also have a valid return ticket with them.

It should be noted that the travellers will be able to visit Malaysia, three months after registration.

There is a specific reason as to why Malaysia is offering free entry to Indians. They are doing so in order to boost tourism. The country is also targeting as many as thirty million international tourist arrivals for the Visit Malaysia 2020 campaign.
