Donald Trump impeached by the House of Representatives for abuse of power, obstruction of Congress

There are primarily two-party in the USA, Republican Party and Democratic Party. President Donald Trump belongs to the Republican Party. Recently Mr Trump was impeached by the US House.

It is believed that President made a call to Ukraine President and urged him to investigate Hunter Biden’s Ukraine visit. Allegedly Mr Trump used American foreign policy influence for his own benefits.

Trump was accused of using the office for personal political gain and to the detriment of national security. He was also accused of obstructing Congress by refusing to cooperate with the Congressional inquiry.

Trump was charged with abuse of office and obstruction of Congress but Democrats, who led the three-month House investigation, are threatening to delay sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate until they are reassured the process will be fair.

“I got Impeached last night without one Republican vote being cast with the Do Nothing Dems on their continuation of the greatest Witch Hunt in American history,” Trump tweeted.

He tweeted: “So after the Democrats gave me no Due Process in the House, no lawyers, no witnesses, no nothing, they now want to tell the Senate how to run their trial. Actually, they have zero proof of anything, they will never even show up. They want out. I want an immediate trial!”

Mr Trump is the third US president to be impeached. Trump has served the nation for over four years. He is undoubtedly one of the best Presidents of the USA, but the allegation, imposed on Mr Trump, may put him in trouble for the upcoming election in 2020.
