Reliance Industries becomes first Indian Company to cross Rs 10 lakh crore net worth

Reliance Chairman, Mukesh Ambani is 10th richest person in the world with a net worth of more than $60.7 billion. For the 12th straight year, Reliance Industries’ chairman is the richest Indian billionaire. No one in this country has come close to his net worth. It’s because of an epic success of his telecom company Reliance Jio, he is enjoying a massive wealth.

Earlier, he was the 20th richest person in the world but now he has made giant strides to get into the Top 10 list.

Reliance Industries Limited beat all other competitors to become the first Indian Company to have a sensational market capitalization of Rs 10 Lakh crore. In addition to that, Mukesh Ambani‘s Reliance Industries Limited is now the world’s 66th most valued company ahead of famous entities such as BP and Netflix.

According to Bloomberg, the company’s market value accelerated to Rs 10 lakh crore from Rs 9 lakh crore in just 25 days.

Recently, Reliance Jio had announced the commercial operation of its fibre-to-the-home business. It aims to reach two crore households and 1.5 crore business establishment in the coming 12-18 months.

Not just that, Ambani also disclosed his plans to use the cooperation of two or more organizations of the digital business of Jio with retail and take on Flipkart and Amazon in the online space.

Mukesh Ambani is the owner of the second-most expensive home in the world, which is, Antilia, ranks after the Buckingham Palace. Antilia, the Ambani residence, is worth Rs 1,40,000,000,000 (14,000 crore rupees or USD 2 billion).

It is located in one of the most expensive residential areas in India, Mumbai’s Altamount Road. The property rates here are a staggering Rs 80,000 to Rs 85,000 per square foot. Antilia has ice-cream parlour, a mega-temple and a private theatre that can accommodate 50 people and a salon as well.

Ambani also owns some richest cars. His collections comprise Mercedes Maybach, Aston Martin Rapide, Rolls Royce Phantom and Bentley Bentayga. It should be noted that Bentley Bentayga is one of the fastest production SUVs and one costs Rs 7.6 crore. Interestingly, Ambani’s own two of these!

Mukesh Ambani’s sons were witnessed driving their Bentley Bentayga where they were followed by a convoy of security cars worth Rs 16.55 crores!

Bentley Bentayga x 2 – Rs 7.56 crore, Land Rover Discovery x 4 – Rs 1.78 crore, Land Rover Range Rover x 1 – 52 lakh, Ford Endeavour x 6 – Rs 1.57 core, Land Rover Range Rover Sport x 3 – Rs 3.45 crore and BMW X5 x 2 – Rs 1.67 crore add up to a staggering Rs 16.55 crores!
