The scope of social media has become so widespread that every news and every video is easily reaching to people. Sometimes you get shocked when you see some surprising videos on social media. You must have heard the word “heart shocking” but have you ever seen a newborn baby whose heart is beating outside the body. Yes, one such video is being shared on social media.

The video went viral on social media. In the video, the heart is beating outside her tiny chest. Even the doctors are surprised after seeing her chest outside the body. Doctors are striving hard to save the baby.

Immediately after the baby was born, she was put in sterile plastic to protect her heart which was beating outside her body. Scans showed her heart and stomach growing outside her developing body. Weeks later, her stomach had entered her torso, but her heart had not.

Her parents said, “It was a real shock when the ultrasound showed that her heart was outside her chest and scary because we didn’t know what would happen.”

They added, “We were advised to have a termination and that the chances of survival were next to none – no-one believed she was going to make it except us.”

Within 50 minutes of birth, the baby was undergoing the first of three operations to put her heart back inside the body

About one in every 126,000 babies is born with ectopia cordis, and about 90 percent of them are either stillborn or die soon after birth, according to Children’s Hospital Colorado. She is fighting it all the way and she is defying everything. She survived even after such critical condition she had suffered.

A handful of children in the United States have also survived this condition. This is really unbelievable when we see such kind of videos on social media. The baby still survived even after the heart was beating outside her chest. we get to see such videos in rare cases.
