West Bengal man throws chemical on Telangana woman after dispute, she was injured badly

It seems that women are not safe in today’s society. The entire nation was shocked by the heinous rape and murder of the veterinary doctor in Hyderabad and after which, the 6-year-old girl was raped and strangled to death by her school belt in Rajasthan and then another shocking atrocity happened when a 9-year-old girl was raped and strangled to death. Then 23-year-old rape victim passed away after being set alight on her way to court in UP.

Now, a 30-year-old woman was injured in the national capital after a man threw a chemical on her on Saturday. The police confirmed that the incident took place near the New Delhi Railway Station, according to India Today.

It has been learnt that man was known to the woman. The police say that the man was also a vagabond and had come to Delhi from West Bengal.

The woman belonged to Telangana and she is married and has a child. Police added that the woman got separated from her husband and came to Delhi some 6 months ago. She has been rushed to a nearby local hospital after she suffered an injury.

The incident hit the peak point when two had fought after the woman denied to accompany him to West Bengal. Irked by it, the man poured a chemical substance on her on Saturday and escaped the spot quickly. She was then taken to Lok Nayak Hospital and was later referred to Guru Nanak Eye hospital.

A case has been lodged and a search operation for the accused has been launched.
