The four of the accused were responsible for raping and burning 26-year-old veterinary doctor in Shamshabad of Ranga Reddy district in Telangana on a horrific Wednesday night on November 27. The accused sketched a plan to commit the murder when they saw the surgeon parking her scooter near the Shamshabad toll plaza.

It was when one of the accused punctured the rear wheel of her scooter when she was not there while the other guy approached her on the pretext of assiting her with the flat tire when she returned back to take her scooter.

Then another accused approached and also took her scooter away for a while to get it fixed. He then came back in some minutes and inform her all the repair shops were closed. Soon after this, the woman was then dragged away, raped and burnt.

The deceased body of the Hyderabad-based veterinary doctor was later discovered on the next day under a culvert in Chatanpally on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru national highway, just a few hours following the heinous crime.
