Hailing from Jaipur, Rajasthan, Akshat completed graduation in Designing from IIT Guwahati in 2017.

After he completed his graduation, Akshat attended UPSC Civil Services exam for the first time. But he was not able to crack the preliminary exam as he missed by a whisker of just two marks in his first attempt due to insufficient preparation.

Absolutely gutted with himself, Akshat started his ideal preparation for the civil services. He worked hard day and night to cover the concepts from scratch and was desperate to crack the exam. In his second attempt, Akshat gave absolutely everything and he cracked the UPSC Civil services exam.

For Akshat, his dream to join the civil services perhaps started a long time ago on seeing both his parents be an integral part of the civil service.

Akshat’s father, DC Jain works as a Joint Director in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), New Delhi and his mother, Simmi Jain, is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer who is posted as ADG of National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN) in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Anything is possible in life with substantial inputs of interest, hard work, grit and determination. Akshat set a great example to other aspirants that there is always a next chance if one fails in the first attempt.

Let’s appreciate Akshat Jain on his success. The Youth wishes him best of luck for his future endeavours.
