Amitabh Bachchan donates 51 Lakh rupees to Bihar CM Relief Fund, let’s praise him

Bihar is not giving up! The whole state received incessant rainfall that resulted in massive floods due to which 70 people have lost their lives while many people are still missing. Many districts of Bihar, including capital city Patna, have been badly affected by flash floods.

Though the situation has gone from bad to worse, Celebrities, common people are doing their maximum best to contribute something for the flood relief work.

It is good to see people helping each other by donating money, distributing food, materials, restoring a great leap of faith in humanity. Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan is in the news recently as he stepped forward to contribute his bit to Bihar state relief fund.

Veteran actor has contributed Rs 51 lakh towards Chief Minister Relief Fund in the aftermath of severe floods in Bihar.

The Bollywood star wrote to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and had expressed his condolences to all those less unfortunate ones who were affected by the calamity.

“Indeed I am deeply stricken by the natural calamity that has hit the state of Bihar. My deepest condolences and sympathies to all whose lives have been affected in the recent flood,” Bachchan wrote.

Earlier, when Kerala faced the wrath of flash floods, Big B in this crisis did his bit to the victims. The recognised actor in the Bollywood film industry donated his personal belongings such as clothes, shoes and accessories for the sufferers of the calamity. A source close to the development has opened up that Amitabh Bachchan has sent a big batch of his personal belongings to the relief cause.

The source revealed, “Mr Bachchan has sent six cartons of his personal clothing, that includes around 80 jackets, 25 pants, 20 shirts and lots of scarves. The actor has also donated around 40 pairs of shoes.” The actor also contributed a sum of 51 lakhs to the Chief Minister’s relief fund.

In this year, when Assam faced the same disaster, Amitabh Bachchan donated 51 lakhs to the relief fund.
