He found it difficult to keep up with the Cuban, whose counter-attacking approach was simply sensational.

Kaushik picked up a few body punches through but couldn’t really push the counter-strikes that came his way in all the three rounds of the game.

After the match, Kaushik said that he gave absolutely everything in all the rounds of the game but he couldn’t win. However, he said that he still has a lot of catching up to do to get to the highest level.

He assured that he will come back even stronger to pose a threat to the opponents in the games to come.

“I gave it my all but I guess there are a few things lacking in my game, which I will try to improve on. I will work harder and deliver better results in the coming tournaments,” Kaushik added in a statement.
