BJP leader Sunny Deol uses Movie dialogues in his first Independence day Speech

Sunny Deol delivered an elan patriotic speech in Nagpur on Wednesday. While addressing the ‘Akhand Bharat Diwas’ programme in the city, the 62-year-old actor-turned-politician used a popular dialogue from his blockbuster film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001) in a bid to fire up the audience at the best scene.

He chanted “Hindustan zindabad tha, hindustan zindabad hai aur hindustan zindabad rahega” As Deol chanted, the spectators gave him a staggering response.

“We have to be a true Indian. You are the strength of this country. All of you are thinking that our country is great and moving forward. We have to keep this feeling alive. Hindustan was, is and always will be a Zindabad. We have to say Hindustan Zindabad hai, Hindustan Zindabad tha aur Zindabad rahega. We are true Indians,” the actor said.

The crowd replied to Deol’s speech with energetic cheer.

As far as the film front is concerned, Sunny Deol is looking forward to the release of Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, which he has directed. The romantic drama movie will mark the film debut of his son Karan Deol, starring debutante Sahher Bammba, the film, jointly produced by Zee Studios and Sunny Sounds P Ltd, will release on theatres on September 20.
