In heart-wrenching news, an 18-year-old girl took an extreme step by committing suicide at her home in Lasudia. The student was reportedly depressed because of the family situation at home as her father was not financially capable of sending her to college right after Class 12.
The ambitious girl by the name of Akansha who had dreams to become something big and achieve in life couldn’t control her tears after she learnt that she wouldn’t go to college considering that the family is in financial crisis.
The girl took an extreme step by consuming poison and ended her life. She was then rushed to a nearby private hospital where she succumbed during treatment after a few hours.
“On Friday, Akansha was not feeling well and had a fever. She slept late and on Saturday morning she started vomiting after coming out from the washroom. She vomited several times and told us that she had consumed poison, We rushed her to a private hospital where doctors declared her dead after a while,” Akansha’s father Rajkumar Chouhan told the police.
Lasudia police added that a case was recorded and the body of the deceased was handed over to her family members after postmortem examination.
It should be noted that Rajkumar Chouhan is a contractor and was not financially good enough. He has a son also. The heartbroken father said that Akansha was very studious and always scored well in exams. She had also requested him several times to send her to college but he was not being able to do so as he was not financially sound.
