Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali set to marry Indian girl in Dubai?

Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali is set to tie the knot with the Indian girl by the name of Shamia Arzoo according to a report by Geo News. The report also went on to state that the nikkah ceremony will take place on August 20 in Dubai.

The report then said Shamia hails from Haryana where she works for a private airline. She pursued engineering from England and lives with her parents in Dubai, with some of the family members living in New Delhi, the report said.

Quoting family sources, Geo News mentioned that Hasan first met Shamia through a close friend in Dubai.

Hasan, who played 9 Tests and 53 ODIs, played a phenomenal role in Pakistan’s 2017 Champions Trophy success.

The 25-year-old pacer struggled to get going at the World Cup in England and Wales and was also dropped from the playing XI midway in the tournament.

Soon after strong speculations went viral for some time about Pakistani pacer Hasan Ali and his affinity with an Indian girl, things drastically took a U-turn after Hasan Ali himself took to Twitter to clarify that his wedding is not confirmed yet.

“Just wanna clarify my wedding is not confirmed yet, our families have yet to meet and decide upon it. will make a public announcement very soon in sha allah,” Ali tweeted.

Previously, Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik married Indian tennis star Sania Mirza on April 12, 2010. The couple also have a son named Izhaan Mirza-Malik who was born on October 30, 2018.

After Shoaib Malik, Zaheer Abbas, and Mohsin Khan married Indian girls. If things go well for Ali, he could be the fourth cricketer from the neighbouring nation to marry an Indian woman.
