Indian athletes dominate USA, China and Germany in ISSF World Cup to bag 24 medals

Why do we fail to praise our athletes who do not play cricket? We take time to praise cricketers but don’t bat an eye on the ones who win medals for India. Why is it so? Let’s learnt to give due credits to the players who give their heart out playing for India.

How many of us know that Indian athletes finished International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Junior World Cup on a sensational note with 24 medals?

Thanks to our athletes for putting on a show and prove that have got everything in them to make the country proud. It’s no doubt that India’s sporting future is in safe hands.

For athletes, setting the records on a global stage means everything to them. The ever-so-talented shooters stamped their authority in shooting and dominated all other athletes from foreign countries.

For the unversed, the 2019 International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Junior World Cup is the annual edition of the ISSF Junior World Cup, governed by the International Shooting Sport Federation.

As many as 685 young athletes across 60 nations came to Suhl this year and it was our Indian athletes who came through with flying colours.

All the young athletes took part in 23 individual, Mixed Team and Team events and the total number of starts are close to 1600.

It should be noted that the 2019 ISSF Junior World Cup was held between 12 to 20 July 2019 in SUHL, Germany. India finished as the top side in the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) tournament with as many as 10 Gold, 9 Silver and 5 bronze for a total of 24 medals.
