There have been lots of shocking incidents tossing around in the country and sometimes there seems to be no end to all the problems. In yet another news that shocked the entire nation, Khushi Parihar, known to be an aspiring model was found murdered with her head and face disfigured on Saturday morning at Chatarpur farms located around 50 KMs away from the Nagpur city.
A passerby who appears to have detected her body allegedly disposed of in the pit. The police in the vicinity immediately arrived at the spot after being notified of the body. Ashraf Sheikh who is Khushi’s boyfriend and live-in partner have been arrested the police in close connection to the murder. He has also allegedly admitted to the crime.
Khushi Parihar, in her early 20s, was a future model who took part in several beauty pageants held in Nagpur. She was allegedly in a live-in relationship with Ashraf Sheikh who is the son of an alleged drug peddler in Nagpur. The police registered a case of murder and destruction of proof or evidence against Ashraf. Police have come to a conclusion that Ashraf killed Khushi after some serious argument with her over her friendship with other men.
Khushi’s body was found with her face smashed, possibly with some heavy stones. On taking a look at the outfit on the body, the police doubted that the victim might be somewhere from urban areas. Then they started inquiring about missing person reports in the city’s several police stations.
The police also got some clues with the tattoos on the victim’s body. ‘Khushi’ was tattooed on her back while an image of a crown with ‘Queen’ written underneath was on her chest.
The third tattoo- ‘Ashu’ was in one of her arms. The tattoos acted as a catalyst for the police to determine her identity. The police also verified her Facebook account and photos of her tattoos uploaded by on her account to confirm her identity.
Khushi uploaded many pictures with her boyfriend Ashraf on her social media Facebook account. However, with the help of local police, Kelvad police finally arrested Ashraf. In a shocking turn of events, Ashraf lied to the police that he was with Khushi till 9 PM on Friday night. After when the location of their mobile phones was tracked, it was then learnt that Ashraf was with Khushi till late in the night on Friday.
Ashraf allegedly admitted to the crime during the interrogation with the police. He even confessed that the duo had gone to a dhaba in Kalamna late in the night where they had drinks and dinner. It was when they both went towards Padhura where they had a quarrel over Khushi’s kinship with other men, leading to her alleged murder.
Ashraf also told the police that he was supposed to get married to Khushi in the next 10 days. He had also recently rented an apartment in Nagpur’s Gittikhadan neighbourhood where he lived with Khushi Parihar. He then claimed that had gifted a mobile and a car to Khushi.
