In a strange turn of events, a man who abandoned his wife and two children and left home in the year 2016, has finally been found dancing around in TikTok videos.
The police identified the man ‘Suresh’, a native of Krishnagiri. He tied the knot with Jayapradha from Villupuram and they have two kids.
One day in 2016, he fled home and decided not to return. After contacting Suresh’s friends and his relatives tried searching him at different places. Suresh’s wife lodged a complaint as per the New Indian Express.
An FIR was also filed but no development since then. It was only recently that Jayapradha’s relatives happened to watch a video on TikTok, wherein a person resembling Suresh appeared on the video.
When he showed the video to Suresh’s wife Jayapradha, she confirmed at the spot that it was her husband. Then the matter was quickly taken up with Villupuram police and they somehow traced him down to Hosur.
Police after their investigation learnt that Suresh fled home as he was upset with some things and the exact reason is not specified. He then moved to Hosur, Tamil Nadu, and started plying his trade as a mechanic in a tractor company. He was also in an affair with a trans woman in Hosur, according to TNIE.
“The trans woman was also in the video, and we traced them down with the help of the transgender association in Villupuram,” said an officer. “We have counselled Jayapradha and Suresh and have sent them back home.”
