Finally, Scientists create a glowing protein that may help ‘Cure Cancer’

Scientists have long been running several trials and experimentations with a view to finding a cure for cancer in today’s world. Though there have been advanced medical research studies worldwide, the bitter reality is that even now, we still don’t have a 100% cure for cancer.

According to the World Health Organisation, Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the world, with as many as 9.6 million mortalities in the year 2018 itself and it is still counting in this year.

In a very serious attempt to fight cancer, there is a new technique of luminescence therapy and thanks to a new ‘glowing protein’ developed by scientists at Russia’s Moscow Institute Of Physics & Technology. This means that the new formula is taking our final goal to come up with a ‘cure for cancer’ finally.

As per the PTI report, fluorescence microscopy where the glowing protein is developed for through re-engineering a bacteria’s DNA is regarded as the the best way of investigating the process behind malignant tumour genesis and development which is what cancer is all about, the researchers of the revolutionary therapy added.

Not only for cancer study and treatment, luminescence or fluorescence microscopy but also is important for studying organ development in the human body.
