CBSE Class 12 Result: Hansika and Karishma top Exam with 499/500

The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the class 12 board exam results on May 2 (Thursday) on the official website ‘cbseresults.nic.in’. Students can check their results from this website.

The pass percentage of the class 12 board exam result is said to be 86.70 per cent. The region with the highest pass percentage is Thiruvananthapuram at 98.2% followed by Chennai at 92.93% and Delhi at 91.87%.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate the joint toppers Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora for their success. Hansika Shukla is from DPS, Meerut road, Ghaziabad and Karishma Arora is from SD Public School, Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. They scored 499 marks out of 500 each.

According to the reports in the Times of India, girls in previous years have performed much better than the boys.

Gaurangi Chawla of Nirmal Ashram school, Rishikesh Aishwarya of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Rai Bareilly and Bhavya from Jind, Haryana have all scored 498 out of 500 took the second place. 18 students take the third position who scored 497/500 and out of the 18 students, 11 of them are girls.

Overall, 3114831 candidates were registered and out of which 12,87,359 appeared for class 12th exam.
