Congress leader and former two-time MP CM Digvijaya Singh was caught in an humiliating situation at an election rally at Eint Khedi village when a youth invited on stage to express his views on Prime Minister but he ended up praising PM Narendra Modi.
The senior Congress leader while addressing Congress followers had asked if they had ever got Rs 15 lakh from Narendra Modi. Digvijay then pointed to a youth and asked him to come up on the stage to say loudly about whether he got the money credited to his bank account.
The youth just walks up on the stage and then takes the microphone to say that “PM Modi did surgical strikes and killed terrorists.”
The response was shocking to Congress supporters and Digvijay Singh was left speechless as he did not even react for a few seconds.
Within a matter of seconds, the Congress leader calmed himself and then pushed the youth away from the microphone after which he was pushed away from the stage by some party workers. This is what had happened.
It has been learnt that Digvijaya Singh will contest against BJP candidate- Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur from Bhopal parliamentary constituency.
Polling in MP will be carried out in the last four phases of elections while voting in Bhopal will be held on May 12 and then counting of votes will happen on May 23.
