Jagdeep Singh from Amritsar declared world’s tallest Cop with 7.6 ft height

A traffic cop by the name of Jagdeep Singh stands tall at 7 feet 6 inches and is considered as the tallest policeman not only in India but also globally. Hailing from Amritsar, Jagpdeep Singh is even taller than the WWE superstar The Great Khali who stands tall at 7 feet 1 inch.

Interestingly, Jagdeep Singh got his uniform stitched by a personal tailor and import shoes from foreign countries as his shoe size is unimaginable which is 19. Well, this is not the first time that the country has seen the tallest cop.

Earlier, the tallest cop in the world was also from India identified as Rajesh Kumar from Haryana who was 7 feet 4 inches tall. Talking more about Singh, he has been with the police force for 2 decades now and has drawn attraction, but at the same time, he also faced a lot of difficulties due to his height.

“I am very proud of being the tallest policeman in India. I am 7 feet 6 inches tall, I weigh around 190 kilograms and I feel very happy about it,” Singh said, as quoted by the Daily Mail. “I can’t find shoes in my size in India. I have to order them from a different country,” he added.

Talking about the difficulties which he faced with this height, he said, “’There are a lot of problems in my life. I am not able to buy clothes for my size, I can’t use a normal washroom. And I have to travel in my own car, I can’t take a local bus or cab. They are too small for me. There were also problems in his love life while growing up. I wasn’t able to find a girl of my height. Nobody was willing to marry me. People thought I was too tall.”

Though he has faced problems because of his height factor, it is not a problem for his wife Sukhbir Kaur (she is 5 feet 11 inches tall). In fact, she said she felt ‘proud’ being married to the tallest man in Punjab because whenever she goes with him out they are the centre of attraction.

“People come and take photos with us, it’s great. I don’t think there’s anyone that’s taller than him in India or the entire world,” Sukhbir said, as quoted by the Daily Mail.

Jagdeep Singh hopes to get his name marked in the Guinness World Records and wishes to continue to celebrate his height, which he thinks it is God’s gift to him.
