Meet Garbage Picker- who shocked all other girls by winning Beauty Pageant Competition

From a Garbage collector from Thailand to become the country’s beauty queen, Mint Kanistha has come a long way to touch the peak of her career. She has seen setbacks in her life before being emerged the winner in a national beauty pageant competition.

Now let’s take a glimpse of her life story of struggles to success. The 20-year-old Mint Kanistha has been guiding and helping her mother in all possible ways to collect garbage in a bid to support themselves, as per a report in Shin Min Daily News. She quit studies after her sixth year in high school, as her mother couldn’t afford to pay her school fees.

However, with her mother’s motivation and support, Ms Kanistha decided to join the Miss Uncensored News Thailand beauty pageant competition in an attempt to get back to school and help support her family.

According to Thai media reports, the beauty pageant is not ashamed that she used to be a garbage collector. She is still proud of her mother and her sacrifices. It was also learnt that her mother took a great deal of effort to earn money, in what made it possible for her daughter to enter the competition and win it.

As per Shin Min Daily News, Ms Kanistha quickly paid her tribute and showed her immense gratitude to her mother by kneeling at her feet while still wearing her crown, and dress from the competition when she returned home.

She said: “I will still help my mother to collect garbage when I’m free even though she is unwilling to let me do it.”

Ms Kanistha has reportedly already received a lucrative job offer as an actress.

“I didn’t believe that I will win. It’s like a dream. Everyone relies on their own efforts to support themselves. To be able to achieve success today is due to that hard work and effort,” she said about her success.

Scores of Thailand citizens lauded Ms Kanistha for her loyal and faithful ways, highlighting that she is not only beautiful but is also a “girl with a generous heart”.
