A video which is repeatedly doing the rounds on social media shows a girl student taking a horse ride with a bag on her back in order to reach school and to write the Class 10 exam in Kerala’s Thrissur. The video has now gone viral on Facebook, Whatsapp and other social media platforms.
The video clip has also been shared by Mahindra Group Chairman – Anand Mahindra. He shared the video and wrote, “Brilliant! Girls’ education is galloping ahead…A clip that deserves to go viral globally. This, too, is #IncredibleIndia”.

In another tweet, Anand Mahindra posted, adding that he has found a new hero. “Does anyone in Thrissur know this girl? I want a picture of her and her horse as my screen saver. She’s my hero. The sight of her charging to school filled me with optimism for the future…”

A Facebook user identified as Anant Narayan who happened to watched the viral video, disclosed that the girl’s name is CA Krishna and she studies in Holly Grace School in Thrissur, Kerala. The girl also told Manorama News that on the last day of the exam, she made up her mind that she would ride the horse to reach school.
After the video spread like wildfire, Twitter users praised the girl’s determination, while some wished her good luck for the exams. “This clip evoked mixed emotions in me, a smile and a tear. The whole image is just very powerful!!. It shows that any child (especially a female) if provided with the right resources and encouragement, can easily reach for the stars. May God bless her?,” one Twitter user wrote.
That girl had some horsepower! Brilliant. Hope her exams went well.
