Breaking: UAE government honours PM Modi its highest civilian award, Congrats India

Not a long ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred with ‘Seoul Peace Prize’ for 2018 for his impressive contribution to international cooperation and stimulating global economic growth. The prestigious award was presented to him by the Seoul Peace Prize Foundation at a grand ceremony.

The award committee after presenting PM Modi the award, acknowledged his contribution to the growth of Indian and global economies, appreciating ‘Modinomics’ for bridging the gap of social and economic disparity between the forward and economically backward sections of the society.

And today, UAE honoured PM Narendra Modi with the Order of Zayed, which is the country’s highest civilian honour. As per the reports, the honour has been conferred upon for bolstering the ties between the UAE and India. Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping has been decorated with the honour.

Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces took to Twitter to tweet that UAE President has awarded PM Narendra Modi with the Zayed Medal.

“We have historical and comprehensive strategic ties with India, reinforced by the pivotal role of my dear friend, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who gave these relations a big boost. In appreciation of his efforts, the UAE President grants him the Zayed Medal,” Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed said in his tweet.
