Blind kid forced to stand in Scorching Sun for not paying school fees on time | The Youth report

Two primary school students in Kerala were reportedly made to stand in the burning sun for two hours for not paying school fees on time.

Hearing the news of brutal punishment, the state child rights commission in Kerala took immediate action by filing a case against the school management on Saturday. It has been learnt that one of the students was visually challenged.

In a shocking turn of events, one of the children was later hospitalised. The kids are Class II students in Aluva. Both of them had not paid last term fees.

Annoyed by this, the school management did not give permission to appear for the examination, the Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights told in a statement.

The case was registered according to media reports, the commission added. A report has also been sought from the school authorities, a source in the commission said.

In addition to that, Kerala Human Rights Commission has registered a case against the school.
