Ahead of elections, Salman Khan replies to PM Modi on Twitter | The Youth

The upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2019 is less than two weeks away, with the first phase all set to start on April 11. It should be noted that the polls will be conducted across the nation till May 19 and counting is scheduled to take place on May 23.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and urged sportspersons, Bollywood personalities, politicians among several others to do their part in inspiring the youths of the nation for a record-breaking huge voter turnout.

PM Modi tagged top cricketers like Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar and also non-cricketing personalities like Kidambi Srikanth, Saina Nehwal, Geeta Phogat, Neeraj Chopra. Modi also tagged Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.

“Voting is not only a right but it’s also a duty. Dear @BeingSalmanKhan and @aamir_khan, It is time to inspire and motivate youth in your own Andaz to vote so that we can strengthen Apna Democracy & Apna country,” PM Modi tweeted.

Salman Khan replied to PM Modi’s tweet and said: “We are a democracy and it is every Indian’s right to vote. I urge every eligible Indian to exercise your right and participate in making the Government.”
