2 Men playing PUBG Mobile killed by a speeding train in Maharashtra, says Police

In yet another tragedy while playing online game PUBG, two young men lost their lives as they were killed by a train in Maharashtra’s Hingoli, police said on Sunday. The shocking incident happened on Sunday evening at a bypass in Hingoli.

According to police, two men- Nagesh Gore (24) and Swapnil Annapurne (22) were playing PUBG close to the railway tracks. While concentrating the game, they failed to take care of themselves as they were run over by the Hyderabad-Ajmer train.

Police said, adding that their bodies were found late at night by locals who are residing in the area. Police added that a report of accidental death has been filed in the matter. This is not the first time that people are getting affected by the game. Earlier, a man, while playing PUBG, drank acid mistaking it for water.

The game has followed the humans around like a dark shadow and when the youths figured it out how to play it on their smartphones, they got massively addicted to it and today, PUBG is the most popular game among all age groups in India since its inception in March 2018.

People are taking this addiction to an extreme level which in turn is causing a lot of problems to individuals as well as for the family members. The gamers are trapped in the fantasy world as they are not even realising that they are in the real world. To avoid accidents like these, they should get back into the safe zone even in real life.
