New Zealand Gunman requested people to subscribe YouTube Channel “PewDiePie”

One of the gunmen identified as Brenton Tarrant live streamed one of the worst-ever mass shooting in New Zealand’s history. At least 52 people were confirmed dead and at least 20 others were injured in the twin Christchurch shootings. The twin attacks happened in central Christchurch, close to where school children gathered in the Global Climate Strike protest.

In a highly-sensitive video that’s been circulated on social media, the gunman can be heard giving support for Swedish YouTuber Pewdie Pie and urging people to subscribe to his channel. It has been learnt that the entire stream ran live for around 18 minutes. However, the video has been deleted on Twitter.

The man, who was seemingly wearing a GoPro device, filmed himself sneaking into the building and taking down every person he saw.

After the unexpected incident of the gunmen killing innocent people and giving a shoutout for Youtuber Pewdie pie, the latter reacted angrily saying he is, “I feel absolutely sickened having my name uttered by this person. My heart and thoughts go out to the victims, families and everyone affected by this tragedy.”
