In the process, the girl lost a lot of blood. She was rushed to the hospital and right now, she is fighting for her life at the Yashoda Hospital at Malakpet, Hyderabad. It has been said that the culprit proposed to the girl multiple times but the girl refused to accept his proposal.

Since then, he was stalking her for a while. The accused now has been arrested and FIR has been filed against him under IPC Sections 307 (attempt to murder) and 354D (stalking), the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) and the Arms Act.

The victim was on her way to college and it was when the 19-year-old C Bharath stabbed her multiple times with a sickle (a sharp object) after which she ran through multiple injuries on her skull, neck, abdomen and hand. After doing the nasty work, he dragged her to a small lane where he again started to attack her, as reported by The News Minute.

According to the victim’s family members, the accused Bharath had been stalking the minor for a long time. Reportedly, he was also adviced, counselled and warned of strict action by “Hyderabad Police’s SHE Team” after a complaint from the girl’s family was registered against him.

Despite all this, he still continued to stalk and harass her. As reported by The Indian Express, the girl had also notified her family that the accused followed her near her college. The girl’s father has also scolded him when he was caught stalking her.
