Odisha’s Malkangiri District is one of the remotest areas in the country and a hotbed of naxals. The area is mostly blamed on the Naxals who don’t permit any infrastructure projects there, which is why the state made less progress so far.

They are also known for exploding everything they see from roads to bridges and even schools as well. Putting all these dangerous things in the equation, the achievement of Sandhya Samarth is worth applauding.

Sandhya who is currently preparing for her MPhil, cracked the OCS exam on her very first attempt without coaching. Sandhya is someone who doesn’t settle for the run-of-the-mill. She has now set high standards for herself to do well in UPSC examination. The Youth wishes Sandhya Best of luck for her future endeavours.
