Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 becomes the No.1 movie, beats Fantastic Beasts 2

2.0 has taken the world by a storm. It is still continuing its massive spree at the box office not just in India but around the world too. Since it hit the screens around the world on November 29, the Shankar directorial is making big bucks across the world.

In just 4 days of its release, the film grossed more than any other South Indian film in the USA, as per the trade expert Ramesh Bala. He wrote, “#2Point0 with $3,588,450 is now 2018’s Highest Grossing South Movie in #USA It overtakes #Rangasthalam’s Lifetime gross of $3,513,450.. * #2Point0 – 3 Lang Versions.. #Rangasthalam – Only Telugu..”

Except for North America, 2.0 has become the top-earning movie around the world wherever it released beating Hollywood hit movies like Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Ralph Breaks The Internet and The Grinch.

2.0’s record-breaking run at the box office which surpassed some top movies at the USA, Ramesh Bala tweeted, “All-time Top 5 South Indian Origin Movies @ #USA BO: 1. #Baahubali2 – $20,571,695 2. #Baahubali – $6,999,312 3. #Kabali – $4,585,808 4. #2Point0 – $3,588,450 (4 Days) 5. #Rangasthalam – $3,513,450”
