Anand Piramal’s parents give ₹450 crore gift to Isha Ambani, it is mind-boggling

Isha Ambani, daughter of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, will be tying the knot with Ajay and Swati Piramal’s son Anand on December 12 this year. The couple will get married in Mumbai following a weekend of pre-wedding festivities in Udaipur.

The Ambani and Piramal families hosted a mind-boggling three-day bash in September 2018 at Lake Como in Italy on the occasion of Isha and Anand’s engagement. After their wedding on the mentioned date, Isha and Anand will locate to a plush sea-facing apartment in Worli, Mumbai.

The newlyweds will start new innings together in the iconic Gulita building in Mumbai. It has been said that Piramals won the bid for the Gulita building in the year 2012 and bought the entire property for a staggering Rs 450 crore.

Hindustan Unilever, which had a training centre at Gulita, sold the property to the Piramals 6 years ago. Gulita (50,000 square feet) is Swati and Ajay Piramal’s iconic wedding gift to Anand and Isha. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation also cleared the property on September 19 of this year and allowed the Piramals to occupy it.

A source told India Today Television on condition of anonymity, “We have been given the deadline of December 1 to complete the work. A big puja is scheduled to take place on December 1 and the work is in full swing. Most of the materials are imported. The bungalow has been given a ‘diamond theme’. It has a swimming pool, one specially-made diamond room, a temple room, three-floor basement for parking and other services, one high-ceilinged huge hall.”

The source added, “At the moment there are over one thousand workers, working day and night to meet the deadline. The property has got the required permission from the BMC as well.”
