MP govt announces ₹75 lakh cash award to Mushkan who won silver- A positive step

In a bid to appreciate the Indian woman athlete Muskan Kirar’s performance of late, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced a cash award of Rs 75 lakh to the silver medalist Muskan. She was a prominent member of the women’s compound archery team that clinched a silver medal at the Asian Games in Jakarta.

MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Muskan Kirar who is a resident of MP’s Jabalpur district has made the state proud with her impeccable achievement at the 18th Asian Games, being held at the Jakarta, Indonesia.

To add the fact that Kirar is a member of the MP State Archery Academy. The Indian team highlighting the likes of Kirar, Madhumita Kumari and Jyothi Surekha Vennam, won the silver medal in the intriguing final match against Korea on Tuesday. The team lost the plot with 228-231 in a contest.
