Asian Games: India wins 5th consecutive gold in women’s 4x400m relay

Hima Das-led Indian Women’s 4 x 400m Relay team dominated other country athletes with ease as they won the gold medal in the event as the relay team clocked 3:28.72 to win gold Hearty congratulations on this marvellous feat. It is true to the fact that it is indeed raining golds for India and day by day, the athletes are showing what they are capable of showcasing their mettle in the important competition.

Hima’s blistering pace in the final stretch of her bit backed by the fruitful efforts of teammates such as Machettira Poovamma, Saritaben Laxmanbhai Gayakwad and Velluva Koroth Vismaya steered India retain their title.

Overall, India have 58 medals at Asian Games 2018 and 12 gold medals. The gold medal that Hima Das won is her third medal in the ongoing Asian Games after clinching the silver medal in women’s 400m followed by a second-place finish in the 4x400m mixed relay event.
