Big news: India clinches SILVER medal in Women’s Kabaddi

Once our girls decided to do something, there is no stopping them. There is nothing that can stop them from touching the pinnacle of success. India bagged a silver medal in Women’s Kabaddi in the ongoing 2018 Asian Games at Jakarta, Indonesia. Credits goes to our girls for displaying an extraordinary tale of energy.

With this silver medal, the medal count of India has increased to a considerable extent. As far as India’s performances in the Asian Games 2018 are concerned, India have won a sum of 24 medals. Out of those, we have won six gold medals, five silver medals and thirteen bronze medals.

India showcased it’s potential on Day 6 of the event, winning two golds, one in Rowing and the other in Tennis. India was enroute to getting third successive gold but was denied by Iran that defeated the two-time defending champions in the Women’s Kabaddi finals.

Our girls have come a long way to reach the Kabaddi finals but were defeated by Iran 27-24, which means India had to settle for the silver medal. India now have a lot of medals to it’s resume and it would be quite interesting to see how our players go about their business in the days to come.
