Young Indian talent bags gold medal at Asian Games 2018

It’s raining golds for India at the Asian Games 2018 and our athletes have been putting exemplary performances to show that they have got everything in them to win the medals. By witnessing all these, we can come to a firm conclusion that India’s sporting future is in safe hands now.

Let’s appreciate our young Indian talent, Saurabh Chaudhary who came through flying colours as the 2018 Asiad. The 16-year-old shooter displayed great shooting skills and much to his decisive approach, he won the men’s 10m Air Pistol event to clinch India’s first shooting gold in the competition.

The junior world record holder shot a flamboyant score of 240.7 to set Games record. On the other side of the coin, Indian shooter, Abhishek Verma won a bronze medal in the same event. As far as shooting event is concerned, India have bagged 5 medals.
