JNU student activist Umar Khalid shot by an unknown man

An unknown man just pulled the trigger on Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) student identified as Umar Khalid outside the Constitution Club of India in Delhi’s Sansad Marg Area, which took everyone by surprise. The shocking incident happened when the student Khalid was at the Constitution Club to mark his presence at the event organised there.

Luckily, Umar Khalid has escaped from mishaps in the incident. According to the eyewitness, Umar Khalid lost his balance and fell down at the drop of the hat after when an unidentified man opened fire at him and the bullet missed him.

As per ANI, “An unidentified man opened fire at JNU student Umar Khalid outside Constitution Club of India. He is unhurt. More details awaited.”

“Umar Khalid accompanied us. We were at a tea stall when a man in a white shirt came, pushed and opened fire at him. Khalid lost his balance, fell down and the bullet missed him. We tried to catch the man but he fled. He fired aerial shots and the pistol slipped out of his hands,” an eyewitness said.
