Job Alert: Indian Army is hiring- check out salary, job vacancies

Are you willing to join the Indian Army? Are you the one who is willing to give anything for the nation? Are you looking forward to representing yourself as a proud Army officer with tones of pride? Then, here is a good news for you! The aspirants- engineering graduates, unmarried men and women, widows of defence personnel can apply under SSC.

There are a total of 191 vacancies and the recruited candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs.51,600. Successful cadets would start their training from April 2019 at Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai. Apply online https://joinindianarmy.nic.in. The last date to apply is August 9.

Eligibility

Candidates who cleared the Engineering Degree course or currently in the final year of Engineering Degree course may apply.

For widows of defence personnel:

(I) SSCW (Non-Tech) (Non-UPSC)- Candidates must be graduates in any discipline.

(ii) SSCW (Tech)- BE/BTechnology in any Engineering field.

Age:

For 52 men in SSC (T) and 23 women in SSCW (T), the minimum age- 20 and the maximum age- 27

For widows of defence personnel, the maximum age- 35 years

Selection procedure

Candidates will be recruited based on the applications that they have submitted. The shortlisted ones will be informed through email. Candidates will have to go through two-stage selection procedure at the SSB. Candidates who manage to clear Stage I will go to the next level at Stage II. The SSB interview lasts five days. The candidates will also be required to clear the medical exam.

Note:

Aspirants can apply only for the above-mentioned programmes. Kindly note that change of entry or choice of qualification choice will not be appreciated during the selection procedure at any stage. Candidates cannot marry while pursuing the programme. Widows of Defence Personnel who had died in difficult situation, including those having children may also apply (if they have not married again)
