The MoU is valid for a period of 3 years. As a part of this formal agreement, data from UP Police, UP 100 and CCTNS will be made accessible to the appropriate department in ISRO and with the help of analytical software, the state police can map, visualize, and create queries and reports about crimes and criminal incidents.

This useful software will help UP Police to analyse crimes and build profiles of the criminals and the complainants. The DGP, after the successful signing of the MoU stressed the fact that crime is changing its aspects every day, and that is why police need to be scientific in its approach and notice it with a different mindset.
